‘In September 2022 Steinbeisser and Vereniging Hendrick de Keyser will bring the Zen Buddhist nun Jeong Kwan, known from Netflix’s Chef’s Table, to Amsterdam for a new edition of Experimental Gastronomy. Jeong Kwan will create a special organic vegan temple food menu in collaboration with artists who will craft custom cutlery and tableware, especially for the occasion. Experimental Gastronomy is a unique immersive experience that brings together acclaimed chefs and artists to create an exciting and radically different way of enjoying food.’ (1)
Each work is glazed with foraged or salvaged materials and is fired to 1280 degrees Celsius.
